Assessment Invaders
Space Invaders-style assessment where the invaders are the answer choices. Correct hits advance the game. Knowledge recall becomes reflexive action.
I help organizations design, prototype, and launch immersive, AI-enabled, and interactive learning experiences that move beyond slides and into practice.
I’m a learning technology consultant, instructional designer, and immersive learning specialist with 25 years in L&D and 17 years teaching at Kirkwood Community College. My work sits where practical training, emerging technology, and clear communication overlap.
I help teams turn complex ideas into learning people can actually use, whether that’s an Articulate course, an AI-supported workflow, an interactive web prototype, an AR/VR experience, or a full curriculum plan. The goal is always the same: start with the real problem, build what fits, and avoid tech for tech’s sake.
I’m based in Marion, Iowa, and work with organizations across the country and beyond.
